Device Request Policy
The Bunyan platform aims to facilitate the delivery of assistive devices to those who deserve them according to clear and fair criteria, ensuring the optimal use of available resources and achieving the highest levels of transparency. This policy clarifies the mechanism for submitting requests for devices, the conditions for benefiting from them, and the procedures for reviewing requests.

Second: Beneficiary Categories
Applications to benefit from the platform's services can be submitted by:
- Persons with disabilities.
- The elderly.
- Patients who need assistive devices temporarily or permanently.
- Licensed non-profit associations and foundations.
- Approved health or social entities when necessary.
Third: Available Devices
The available devices depend on the donations received and what is rehabilitated by the platform, and may include:
- Manual and electric wheelchairs.
- Walkers and crutches.
- Medical beds and chairs.
- Patient lifting devices.
- Prosthetics and compensatory devices.
- Orthopedic shoes.
- Braces and splints.
- Other assistive devices subject to availability.
Note: All devices may not be permanently available, as this is subject to donations and inventory status.
Fourth: Conditions for Benefiting
To benefit from the platform's services, the following is required:
- Providing correct and complete data.
- Uploading the required documents when necessary.
- Using the device for personal use or for the beneficiary entity only.
- Complying with the instructions issued by the platform.
- Not submitting more than one request for the same device at the same time.
- Cooperating with the platform team during the request review stages.
Fifth: Required Documents
The platform may request certain documents to verify eligibility, including:
- National ID or Iqama.
- A recent medical report indicating the need for the device.
- Proof of address when necessary.
- Any additional documents the platform deems necessary to complete the review of the request.
Sixth: Steps to Submit a Request
The process of requesting a device goes through the following stages:
- Creating an account or logging in to the platform.
- Selecting the required device.
- Filling out the request form.
- Attaching the required documents.
- Submitting the request.
- Reviewing the request and verifying the data.
- Notifying the applicant of the review outcome.
- Coordinating the collection or delivery of the device upon approval.
Seventh and Eighth: Reviewing Requests and Priority Criteria
The Bunyan platform reviews all requests according to criteria that include:
- Completeness of data and validity of documents.
- The actual need for the device and its availability.
- Priority for the most needy cases and the number of devices available in stock.
Submitting or completing a request does not guarantee receiving the device.
The platform relies on a set of criteria in distributing devices, including:
- Health condition and degree of need.
- Availability of the device and medical reports.
- Priority groups according to the platform's policies.
- Date of request submission when eligibility criteria are equal.
Ninth and Tenth: Receiving the Device and Beneficiary Obligations
Upon approval of the request, the beneficiary will be contacted to determine the collection mechanism, which may be through collection from one of the platform's centers, delivery to the beneficiary's address, or delivery via an approved partner entity.
The beneficiary must inspect the device upon receipt and report any observations within the period specified by the platform.
- Using the device for its intended purpose and maintaining it.
- Not selling, renting, or disposing of the device in violation of the platform's regulations.
- Providing the platform with any information it requests to complete the service.
- Notifying the platform when the device is no longer needed, if applicable to the type of service provided.
Eleventh: Rejection of Requests
The platform reserves the right to reject a request in the following cases:
- Providing incorrect data or documents, or missing required documents.
- Failure to meet eligibility criteria or the requested device is unavailable.
- Repeated requests in violation of the platform's policies.
- Misuse of the platform's services or violation of its terms.
The applicant will be notified of the reason for rejection when appropriate.
General Provisions (Data Protection and Policy Amendment)
The Bunyan platform is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all provided data and documents. They are handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Bunyan platform reserves the right to amend this policy at any time in accordance with operational, regulatory requirements, or applicable laws. Amendments take effect from the date of their publication on the platform.
Applicant's Acknowledgment
By submitting a request to obtain a device through the Bunyan platform, the applicant acknowledges that they have read this policy, that all data and documents provided are correct and complete, and agrees to be bound by the terms and procedures regulating the use of the platform's services.
